We Deeply Mourn
The
sudden demise of Maj Gen Zia Ahmed psc
(Retd) Hon’ble Chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory
Commission (BTRC) on 10 September, 2012 has deeply shocked us all Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeun.
We
express our profound grief and sorrow at the loss in his death. We pray
to the Almighty Allah for the eternal peace of his departed soul and extend our
deepest condolence to his bereaved family members.
His
legacy is immortalized through his proactive support towards the open-up and
development of the community radio sector in Bangladesh.
May Allah
grant them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss AMEEN
